Clammy – Character Design for the Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared Contest

For the official Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared character contest, we created our very own oddball: Clammy.

Age: Somewhere between eras
Species: Unclear—possibly paper mâché mixed with something that feels like glitter but mysteriously never comes off
Occupation: Deep-fried reality star

Clammy is our delightfully unhinged contribution to the DHMIS universe. She blinks out of sync, once dated a sentient iPod (they’re still friends), and has a tendency to reinvent herself at random. This interview marks her official debut—before she inevitably turns into a playlist, a horse, or something even stranger.
